Colombia continues to lead all foreign countries searching for South Florida real estate, according to new data from the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI). The South American nation finished as the top international country using MIAMI’s search portal, www.Miamire.com, in June 2016. Colombia has now led the MIAMI rankings for seven consecutive months
Major Roadway and Infrastructure Improvements in Downtown Tampa to Begin August 29
As part of the master planned development in southern downtown Tampa, roadway and infrastructure improvements will begin on Monday, August 29, 2016. The initial lane closures along Channelside Drive and Morgan Street mark the beginning of roadway and infrastructure improvements in the southern downtown area over the next 18-24 months. Traffic advisories will be sent out to notify the public of the construction impacts throughout the construction process.
Orlando median price jumps 12 percent amid declines in both inventory and sales
The inventory of homes available for purchase in the Orlando area dropped by 10 percent in July 2016, contributing to a 6.28 percent decrease in sales and a 12.04 percent increase in median price when compared to July 2015. Inventory has experienced 13 consecutive months of year-over-year declines

Florida’s housing market reported more new listings, higher median prices and fewer days to a sales contract during the second quarter of 2016, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Closed sales of single-family homes statewide totaled 76,748 in 2Q 2016, up 1.4 percent over the 2Q 2015 figure
