WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 27, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Congratulations to CLSMF Pro Bono Attorney Jimmy Allen Davis, the recipient of the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties and Brighthouse Networks Adult Volunteer of the Year award. Jimmy was presented with his award at the annual volunteers’ luncheon at the Shores Resort in Daytona Beach Shores on April 23.
Jimmy was admitted to the Florida Bar in October, 2012 and has been volunteering with CLSMF since January of 2013. Since his involvement with CLSMF’s Volunteer Lawyers Project he has provided legal advice, pro se assistance and full representation to clients with housing and other issues. In 2013 Jimmy received the Judge Robert K. Rouse, Young Lawyer Division Pro Bono Service Award. This award is given to recognize the pro bono contributions of young lawyers.
Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle and Masters of Science in Physics from the University of Central Florida. He received his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law.
Prior to becoming an attorney Jimmy worked as an Academic Researcher at the University of Central Florida, Florida Space Institute, Embry-Riddle and NASA. He has also worked as a Patient Care Coordinator at Curascript Specialty Pharmacy and as a Field Organizer for Organizing for America.
