Tampa’s Town and Country Water Customers Experiencing Low Water Pressures

-

TAMPA, FL – June 11, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Today, Water Department employees have further reduced the affected area to an area bounded by Stillbrook Avenue on the north, Boxwood and Baycrest drives on the south, Memorial Highway on the east, and the canals on the west. There are approximately 700 customer accounts still experiencing low pressure. Water Department employees are making progress, but still working to locate a break.

Residents and businesses in the affected area are not under a precautionary boil water notice at this time. Although pressures are lower than normal, our technicians have been able to hold system pressure within a safe and appropriate range.

It is possible that repair work may result in isolated boil water notices. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
