Pinellas County Short Sale Realtor Shares the Good News About Diabetic Patients of Pinellas County

Crystal Beach, FL – November 2, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The University of Florida and Pinellas County Extension partners with the James and Heather Gills YMCA in St. Petersburg to guide those with diabetes take charge.

The program will provide 8 sessions headed by certified health professionals and educators. The series will focus on essential steps that can be done to control diabetes, like improving hemoglobin A1C, making healthy meal plans and lowering blood pressure.

Classes are offered from October 17 until December 12, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm every Mondays at Pinellas County Extension.

The session’s targets to help people that were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and are at least 21 years of age. To register for the sessions, visit Pinellas County Extension website. A $25 fee will cover the costs of the program’s materials.

Pinellas County Extension is collaboration between the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences and Pinellas County Government as part of a countrywide network of land grant universities. The University of Florida is an equal opportunity institution.
