MIAMI – (RealEstateRama) — The Realtors Commercial Alliance of the MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) has elected Coral Gables Realtor Maria G. Juncadella, CCIM, MBA, as its 2016 president. She and the entire Board of Directors were installed Feb. 12 at MIAMI’s Annual Inaugural and Awards Luncheon.
The RCA MIAMI Board is dedicated to leadership in the commercial industry, the real estate profession, and the communities they serve. RCA MIAMI Leaders impact key policy decisions and important issues affecting the commercial industry, analyze information, are actively and visibly involved in events and programming, and promote Miami and South Florida commercial and investment real estate worldwide. MIAMI represents more than 41,000 residential, commercial, and international real estate professionals.
“With more than 2,000 commercial members, RCA MIAMI is one of the largest commercial Realtor associations in the nation,” Juncadella said. “We are looking forward to another year of leadership and success in the South Florida commercial industry.”
Juncadella is a principal at Coral Gables-based Fairchild Partners, which she co-founded in 2005 with her husband, Jose I. Juncadella. Maria Juncadella specializes in the sale and leasing of office properties in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, South Miami and Doral.
In 2014, Maria Juncadella began leading the brokerage team of Kendall Summit, a 173,000 RSF office complex consisting of five buildings in the heart of Kendall. Among her many career achievements, Maria Juncadella participated in Baptist Health South Florida’s land purchase for a build-to-suit centralized distribution center in 2013.
Maria Juncadella is an active member of the Miami chapter of CREW, a national organization focused on the advancement of women in commercial real estate. At CREW-Miami, she has served as board director, chapter president, scholarship committee member, sponsorship director, and other roles. In 2015, Maria Juncadella received the “Star Award” from CREW-Miami.
Maria Juncadella, who obtained a master’s degree in business administration with honors from the University of Miami in 2015, mentors college students as a CREW-Miami 2015 UCREW Committee member. She is also a founding member of the Millennium Council at the Church of Epiphany in South Miami.
