Lake County Public Works to move to the downtown Tavares government campus

TAVARES – June 8, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Beginning Monday, June 22, the Lake County Public Works Department will relocate from the office at 437 Ardice Ave. in Eustis to the downtown Tavares government campus.

The main office will be headquartered at 323 N. Sinclair Ave. in Tavares and the engineering office will be at 350 N. Sinclair Ave. The main office will house the department administration, construction, flood determinations, special assessments, stormwater and Public Works permits. The engineering building will house right-of-way, survey, engineering and traffic engineering.

The new phone number for the Public Works Department will be 352-253-6000.

The move is the last of a series of county facility reorganizational moves. On June 8, Lake County’s Housing Services relocated to a new office in the Citrus Rail Plaza, located at 2008 Classique Lane, Tavares. In May, the Lake County Clerk of Court’s Public Records Center offices moved to the Lake County Courthouse at 550 W. Main St., Tavares, north wing, third floor.
