Lake County government offices to close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

TAVARES – January 10, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of Courts, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections and Tax Collector will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Offices will reopen with regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Lake County Solid Waste residential collection services will continue as normal on Monday, but residential convenience centers will be closed.

LakeXpress, Lake County’s public transportation service, will not operate on Jan. 20. For more information or to view a bus schedule, call 352-323-5733 or visit www.RideLakeXpress.com.

The Lake County Welcome Center, located at 20763 U.S. Highway 27, Groveland will also be closed.

The Lake County Library System libraries will also close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Closings include:
