January 16, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The January 21 Noon meeting of the CDBIA Green Building Council will feature Ed Binkley for a discussion about “Affordable Green.”
Ed Binkley’s affiliations include the American Institute of Architects, The Congress of Residential Architecture, US Green Building Council, The Florida Green Building Coalition, and The National Association of Homebuilders. Ed’s experience began in 1979 and incorporates work on wide a variety of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Two of his most recent endeavors include the lead design role on the 2005 and 2007 New American Home projects, each of which were showcased during the International Builders Shows of those years.
Mr. Binkley believes that everyone deserves dignified housing within their own personal budget. His vast experience includes design for extremely high budget homes to low budget affordable and workforce housing, including an award-winning design for Habitat for Humanity.
Binkley’s current endeavors are focused on the systems approach to home building within affordable and sustainable standards.
