TAVARES – February 9, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, Clerk of Courts, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections and Tax Collector will be closed Monday, Feb. 15 for Presidents Day. Offices will reopen with regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Lake County’s Solid Waste residential curbside collection and the Central Landfill Facility, 13130 County Landfill Road, Tavares, will operate normally on Monday. However, the Solid Waste call center and residential convenience centers will be closed.
The Lake County Welcome Center, 20763 U.S. Highway 27 in Groveland, and the Lake County Extension Center and Discovery Gardens, 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares, will be closed for the holiday. LakeXpress, Lake County’s public transportation service, will operate with regularly scheduled hours.
The following Lake County Library System Libraries will close for Presidents Day:

Minneola Schoolhouse Library, 100 S. Main St., Minneola
Paisley County Library, 24954 County Road 42, Paisley
W. T. Bland Public Library, 1995 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora
