Florida Homebuilder Offers First-of-Its Kind 'Value Guarantee' on New Luxury Homes at Palm Beach County Equestrian Community
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ — A prominent South Florida homebuilder today unveiled a first-of-its-kind guarantee program that gives buyers peace of mind and money back if homes don't maintain their value. Landmark Custom Homes is offering its “Exclusive Value Guarantee” for Equus, an upscale residential equestrian community in western Boynton Beach, Florida, a suburb of West Palm Beach.
One year after a buyer closes on a new home at Equus, Landmark will automatically order two independent appraisals on the property. If the appraisal is lower than the purchase price, the builder will refund the difference up to 10%. Landmark will set money aside at closing for any potential refunds.
“There are plenty of people right now who would like to buy a new home, and can qualify for financing, but they're on the sidelines, worried about uncertainties in the real estate market,” said Bell. “People are concerned that if they buy today their values could drop and they don't want to take the risk. Landmark offers five floor plans ranging in size from 4,000 to 6,000 square feet. Prices start at just over a million dollars to $1.8 million. All homes come standard with marble floors, granite countertops, an intercom system, pools and barbecue centers, and central vacuum.
