MetWest International Adds Local Restaurant Thai Prime to its Menu of Dining Options

TAMPA, Fla. – August 19, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — MetWest International is adding Thai Prime to its already impressive line-up of restaurants at its retail center across from International Plaza and Tampa International Airport. Thai Prime is a local restaurant known for its authentic Thai cuisine and is slated to open in the fall. It will offer 176 seats, a full liquor bar and outside seating.

The restaurant signed a 2,613 square foot lease at MetWest International in Tampa’s Westshore Business District. Kalyn Brandewie of Florida Retail Partners brokered the deal on behalf of the project’s owner. Dean Koutroumanis of The Boardwalk Company represented the tenant.

Thai cuisine is popular among diners who value freshness of ingredients and quality of preparation. “MetWest is a great location for our 2nd restaurant,” stated Thai Prime Owner David Chong whose family along with the Fordham family owns the restaurant. “MetWest alone has over 3,500 employees with thousands more employed within 2 miles.” The Chong’s first restaurant – Thai Samurai – is located in Trinity.

“Anyone who has dined at their very popular Trinity restaurant will be excited they are coming to MetWest,” said Florida Retail Partner Kalyn Brandewie. “In addition to a great lunch & dinner menu Thai Prime will be the only restaurant in the MetWest retail village serving breakfast.”

Thai Prime rounds out an impressive roster of restaurants at MetWest including Del Frisco’s Grille, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Kona Grille and Texas de Brazil. Davidoff’s Cigar Bar & Lounge will open in November.
