TAVARES – February 25, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — The UF/Lake County Extension is hosting a program called “Closing Your Seasonal Home,” meant to help residents prepare the interior and exterior of homes when leaving for extended periods. Topics will include preventing mold and mildew, storm preparation, deterioration of the exterior, updating documents, preventing pests and intrusion of burglars.

The session will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, March 5, at the Lake County Agriculture Center, 1951 Woodlea Road, Tavares.
