Screen on the Green Returns to Water Works Park

Tampa, Fla – September 28, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The nights have cooled down so it’s time to head to the park to enjoy movies under the stars. Screen on the Green Presented by Verizon returns to Water Works Park beginning on Saturday, Oct. 3 for a series of family-friendly movies. The free movies range from the cult classic “Ghostbusters” to the new favorite “Hotel Transylvania.” The movies have been chosen to appeal to both children and adults.

Movies will be shown on a large, inflatable, outdoor movie screen and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available to purchase from the Tampa Parks & Recreation’s Teens Leading Change (TLC) Program. A food truck will also be on site.

Where: Water Works Park, 1710 N. Highland Avenue

Start Times: Movies start at 7:30 p.m., seating begins at 6 p.m.

Admission: Free!

What can I bring? Friends and family; picnic baskets and coolers, blankets, low-back lawn chairs, and well-behaved, leashed dogs.

Alcohol is prohibited.
