WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) today visited the Eureka Garden federal housing complex in Jacksonville, Florida, which has been plagued for months by mismanagement leading to dangerous and inhumane living conditions. Upon arrival, Rubio was greeted by representatives from Global Ministries Foundation (GMF), which owns and manages the property, which is under contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as Section 8 housing.

Rubio: “What you guys have done is horrifying and inexcusable. I’m gonna come in, and I hope you’ll tell your principal that we look forward to bringing all the full bare of every agency I can to look at the way he does business.”

GMF Representative: “Look at all the restorations that are underway.”

Rubio: “You mean the ones you did before I came? You guys are disgusting. That’s the only word I can use.”

Rubio: “This is all a show. None of these crews were out here doing any of this up until 48 hours ago when they found out we were coming.”
