Holiday Traditions starting November 26 through December 31 2011
The Holiday Traditions will captivate Pinellas County locals as they held the event at Pinellas County’s 21-acre living history museum. All the historic houses of the Heritage Village will be ornamented true to its time era, lifestyle & locality, from an elegantly decorated Victorian home to a simply decorated 1852 log cabin.
Trees & Traditions – A Centennial Celebration on December 3 2011
Another wonderful event that Pinellas County Historical Society will sponsor for the coming holiday season is the Trees & Traditions. From 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and a minimal suggested $2 donation, the Pinellas County Historical Society will have a open house with refreshments, kid’s activities & crafts, carols & holiday music, a historic tour that will give Pinellas County residents a look back at how the locals used to celebrate the season from mid1800s until 1950s, and of course a special visit from Santa Claus! Pinellas County participants will also find a unique holiday present at the Beach Cottage Gift Shop.
Pinellas County Historical Society has been hosting festivals, exhibits and family fun activities throughout the year.
