Pinellas County Commissioner Hosts Community Office Hours Program

Crystal Beach, FL – October 19, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch is set to host the coming community office hours program on October 19, 2011, Wednesday, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the conference room of St. Petersburg College West Library, situated at 6700 8th Avenue N., St. Petersburg.

The Community Office Hours Program gives opportunity to Pinellas County residents to speak their minds, ideas & concerns that are related to Pinellas County issues, without the need to go to County Courthouse in Clearwater’s downtown.

There are no appointments needed to be heard, Pinellas County Commissioner will meet with each constituents on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch was first elected in 2000 to the Board of County Commissioners and re-elected in the year 2004 & 2008. District 7 includes south Pinellas County, which includes Lealman, South Pasadena, Gulfport, and most of St. Petersburg.

To mention a few of the issues that is being discussed by the Board of County Commissioners this year includes human services, housing services, homeless services, transportation/ligh rail, EMS restructuring, countywide budget cuts and annexation.
