LONG-TIME REAL ESTATE EXECUTIVE NAMED TO LEAD CBRE’S JACKSONVILLE OPERATIONS

Jacksonville, FL – May 17, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — CBRE today announced that William (Tripp) Gulliford will join the firm as Managing Director of its Jacksonville office. He assumes his new role on June 3rd, following the retirement of Jim Citrano, who managed this office for more than 15 years.

Gulliford comes to CBRE from Everbank where he served as Portfolio Director of Everbank Commercial Advisors, overseeing the management and legal affairs for the bank’s non-performing and sub-performing commercial loan portfolio. Prior to this position, he was a principal with Midland Development Group where, together with his partners, he redeveloped and developed more than 20 retail and mixed-use properties.

He has also served as an executive at Regency Centers, a publicly traded national developer, owner and operator of approximately 450 grocery anchored and community shopping centers in 30 states. A lawyer by training, Gulliford practiced general business and commercial real estate law in Jacksonville with Rogers Towers.

Active in the community, he is currently the Chair of The City of Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority and is a trustee of the Riverside Presbyterian Day School. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

Gulliford holds a J.D from Stetson University College of Law and at Bachelor of Arts from The University of the South.
