CB RICHARD ELLIS NAMES MARY JO EATON SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR AND FLORIDA MARKET LEADER

Miami, FL – September 29, 2010 – (RealEstateRama) — CB Richard Ellis today announced that Mary Jo Eaton has been named Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for its business lines throughout the state of Florida. Ms. Eaton, is currently Managing Director of both the company’s Baltimore office and its Asset Services operations in the Washington-Baltimore region.

Ms. Eaton will relocate to the Miami area and assume her new responsibilities on January 1, 2011. She succeeds Bill Moss, who announced plans to relinquish his Florida leadership role in order to devote his full time and energies to the Orlando office. Mr. Moss has run both the Florida operations and Orlando office since 2006.

“I am very pleased to welcome Mary Jo to Florida and look forward to working with her to continue building our leadership position in the state,” said Mr. Moss, who will jointly run the Florida operations with Ms. Eaton for a three-month transition period in early 2011. “She is a proven leader who will help us grow our business across the state.”

In 2009, Ms. Eaton was named Asset Services Market Leader of the Year, reflecting her success in driving revenue growth and sustaining profitability despite the challenges posed by the weak market conditions. As Asset Services leader for Washington-Baltimore, she has also overseen one of the company’s largest property management portfolios nationally, totaling nearly 50 million sq ft. CB Richard Ellis is evaluating candidates for Ms. Eaton’s two current leadership positions and expects to announce successors soon.

“Mary Jo has been a valuable contributor to our success in the Washington area,” said John Germano, CB Richard Ellis’ Senior Managing Director for the Washington-Baltimore Region.

“She is an inspirational leader, prudent businessperson and strong manager, and these attributes will serve her well in her new role in Florida. At the same time, we have in place excellent succession plans for Mary Jo’s positions that will help us to identify and confirm new Baltimore and Asset Services leaders over the weeks ahead.”

Ms. Eaton joined CB Richard Ellis in 2005 as Managing Director of Asset Services in the Philadelphia Region. Prior to that, she was with Equity Office Properties Trust (EOP) and oversaw its Philadelphia CBD and suburban portfolio through the successful disposition and eventual exit from the Philadelphia market. Earlier she served as a Vice President with Lincoln Property Company in Philadelphia and held management positions with Trammell Crow Company and Fox Realty Company.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University and a master’s from Temple University.
