C&W Announces $166 Million in April Transactions

TAMPA, FLORIDA – May 20, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Cushman & Wakefield today released its April 2015 transaction report highlighting more than 3.1 million square feet of commercial real estate transactions valued at more than $166 million. The details of these transactions can be found below.

Office Leases
Senior Director Scott Garlick and Senior Director John Fish represented HealthplanOne in the expansion and renewal of its 34,249-square-foot lease at 6302 East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. The landlord was B&L Investments Interstate.

Meritus Communities renewed its 9,917-square-foot lease at 5680 West Cypress Street in Tampa, Florida. Senior Director James Moler and Senior Director Paula Buffa represented the landlord, Bay West Tampa Investors.

Fair Isaac Corporation subleased 9,244 square feet at 181 Metro Drive in San Jose, California. Executive Director Andy May, Director Barry Oaks, and Associate Director Nina Sullivan represented the landlord, Syniverse Technologies.

Dewberry Consultants renewed its 9,175-square-foot lease at 1000 North Ashley Drive in Tampa, Florida. Senior Director Mercedes Angell and Director Jeff Lanning represented the landlord, Ashley Avenue Associates, LLC.

Executive Director Andy May, Director Barry Oaks, and Associate Director Nina Sullivan represented Chapters Health Systems in a 8,137-square-foot lease expansion at 12470 North Telecom Parkway in Tampa, Florida. The landlord was Tampa Bay Office Investors, LLC.

Masonite Corporation signed a 7,313-square-foot lease expansion at Tampa City Center in Tampa, Florida. Cushman & Wakefield represented both sides of the transaction. Team members included Senior Director James Moler, Executive Director Andy May, Director Barry Oaks, Associate Director Nina Sullivan, Senior Director John Fish, and Senior Director Scott Garlick. The landlord was 201 North Franklin Tampa, LLC.

Herron Associates, Inc. renewed its 6,065-square-foot release at 600 North Westshore Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. Senior Director Mercedes Angell and Director Jeff Lanning represented the landlord, Parkway Westshore, LLC.

XO Communications leased 5,607 square feet at Tampa City Center in Tampa, Florida. Senior Director James Moler, Executive Director Andy May, Director Barry Oaks, and Associate Director Nina Sullivan represented the landlord, 201 North Franklin Tampa, LLC.

Executive Director Andy May, Director Barry Oaks, and Associate Director Nina Sullivan represented Catalina Marketing Corporation in the lease of 3,097 square feet at 2430 Highway 34 in Wall Township, New Jersey. The landlord was Richard Bahadurian.

Senior Director Scott Garlick and Senior Director John Fish represented Arma Aviation Corporation in its 2,744-square-foot lease expansion at 3030 North Rocky Point Drive in Tampa, Florida. The landlord was Mid-West Portfolio Corporation.

Associate Brian Breeding represented Women’s Care Florida in the lease of 2,700 square feet at 602 Vonderburg Drive in Brandon, Florida. The landlord was Devco Development, LLC.

Associate Michael Park represented Signature Financial Solutions in the lease of 2,515 square feet at 6000 Cattleridge Drive in Sarasota, Florida. The landlord was CattleRidge Development Corporation.

Executive Director Andy May, Director Barry Oaks, and Associate Director Nina Sullivan represented KForce, Inc. in a 2,425-square-foot lease expansion at 500 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, California. GPI 500 Brand, Ltd. was the landlord.

Zaeplex renewed its 1,800-square-foot lease at 100 South Ashley Drive in Tampa, Florida. Director Jeff Lanning and Associate Brian Breeding represented the landlord, 100 South Ashley Property Owner, LLC.

Executive Director Mike Davis, Senior Director Michael Lerner, Director Mark Pateman, and Associate Director Tara England represented Institutional Investors advised by JP Morgan Asset Management in the sale Financial Center at the Gardens, a 188,772-square-foot office building located at 3801 PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The buyer was KBS Realty Advisors.

Industrial Leases
Thompson and Company renewed its 27,496-square-foot lease at 5550-B Airport Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. Director Julia Rettig, Executive Director Mike Davis, Director Jeff Lamm, Director Timothy Callahan, and Associate Scott Peek represented the landlord, The Peter Lawrence Companies.

Director Timothy Callahan, Associate Scott Peek, Senior Director John Meyers, and Senior Director Roger McManimon represented Aramark Refreshment Services in the renewal of its 11,760-square-foot lease at 8723 Florida Mining Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. The landlord was Duke Realty.

Advocates of World Health leased 10,854 square feet at 5601 Airport Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. Director Julia Rettig, Executive Director Mike Davis, Director Jeff Lamm, Director Timothy Callahan, and Associate Scott Peek represented the landlord, The Peter Lawrence Companies.

Director Timothy Callahan and Associate Scott Peek represented Conopco, Inc. in the sale of 5.78 acres of industrial land at 5400 118th Avenue North in Clearwater, Florida. The buyer was Industrial Assets Corporation.

Senior Director Jane Levin represented American Infoage, LLC in the sale of 2.01 acres of industrial land at 4303 Communications Drive in Norcross, Georgia. Communications Dr. Truck was the buyer.
