CBRE PARTNERS WITH REBUILDING TOGETHER TAMPA BAY TO HELP FAMILY IN NEED

Tampa, FL – April 29, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — CBRE Group, Inc. (CBRE) joined Rebuilding Together to improve the homes and lives of Greater Tampa Bay homeowners in need through CBRE Cares, the company’s national corporate philanthropy program.

On April 25, 2015, dozens of CBRE volunteers partnered with Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB) to assist a local family in need as part of National Rebuild Day. The selected homeowners Michael and Dorene Franklin have been living in their Sulphur Springs residence for the last eight years. Volunteers contributed to make the home safer with the installation of legibly-numbered mailboxes, new levered door locks/deadbolts, peep holes and more. Volunteers also completed exterior painting and yard cleanup. The Franklin family is thankful to RTTB and CBRE for providing home improvements as they find it difficult to afford the home repairs and upkeep.

“Each year, CBRE volunteers help to renovate and refurbish private homes, homeless shelters and other facilities alongside our CBRE Cares Shelter Program charitable partners Rebuilding Together and HomeAid,” said Chase Pattillo, Managing Director, CBRE Tampa. “This program offers our people an amazing and important opportunity to help their neighbors in need.”

A major component of the CBRE Cares Shelter Program is our dedicated BuildMonth, which encourages all CBRE employees to participate in rebuilding projects in their local communities. Projects with our chosen partners—HomeAid and Rebuilding Together—as well as Habitat for Humanity, occur during the month of September, with additional projects taking place throughout the year.
