Lake County Extension promotes two upcoming programs

TAVARES, FL – February 25, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — The Lake County Cooperative Extension is promoting two upcoming educational programs, “Integrated Pest Management Update” on Wednesday, March 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and “Greenhouse and Nursery Financial Program for Hard Economic Times” on Tuesday, March 10, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Integrated Pest Management Update is being held at the Mid-Florida Research & Education Center, located at 2725 Binion Road in Apopka, and participants can receive continuing education units. The program costs $20, which includes resource materials and refreshments. Presentations during the program include “How to Make Bio-Control Work in the Landscape” and “Scouting and Problem Diagnosis for Landscapes.” For more information or to register, call Maggie Jarrell at (352) 343-4101.

The free Greenhouse and Nursery Financial Program for Hard Economic Times is being held at the Mid-Florida Research & Education Center.
